Vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water), hypoallergenic vegetable cellulose, calcium oxide, ascorbyl palmitate, calcium chloride.

SAMe, or S-Adenosylmethionine, stands as a metabolite present in every living cell, serving as a vital methyl group donor in over 100 diverse reactions. Its role extends to the synthesis, activation, and/or metabolism of various essential components, including hormones, neurotransmitters, nucleic acids, phospholipids, and proteins. Methyl groups, crucial signaling agents in the body, play a regulatory role in gene expression and cell function. Backed by over 40 clinical studies, SAMe has demonstrated its efficacy in promoting mood balance. A comprehensive meta-analysis, involving 25 controlled clinical trials with 791 subjects, established the statistically significant positive impact of SAMe on mood. This effect is attributed to its support for the synthesis and activity of monoamines, neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. SAMe further contributes to healthy protein turnover, maintaining phospholipid methylation to bolster phosphatidylcholine production and uphold the integrity and fluidity of cell membranes. Adults:  For healthy mood balance, take 2 capsules 1-3 times daily. For osteoarthritic pain, take 2 capsules 3 times daily. Take in divided doses, between meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. For osteoarthritic pain, use for a minimum of 8 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.
